Should Christians Boycott Starbucks?

I agree with Russell Moore’s point. Boycotts are rarely helpful in the advance of the kingdom of light against the dominion of darkness. It is simply a reaction with very little thought given to the long-term ramifications of such a decision. Christians should never condone evil, but should always know that God has the final judgement in all things (2 Corinthians 5:10).

The group, which supports legal protection for traditional marriage, launched the “Dump Starbucks” campaign after a national board meeting in which the Seattle-based coffee company mentioned support for same-sex marriage as a core value of the company. Some Christians are wondering whether we ought to join in the boycott. I say no.
